Housing requires a significant amount of careful planning & coordination between stakeholder, contractor and tenants all of which is managed by our dedicated domestic housing team. With this in mind we have bespoke management systems and specialist operatives, experienced in domestic work, ready to be dispatched at short notice to meet the quick turnaround and tight deadlines required in this sector in strict adherence to contract KPI’s and SLA’s.

Savana Environmental have a large customer base relating to local authority and public sector work working for many of the North Easts local authorities. Savana Environmental have carried out works on multiple construction and demolition sites working for some of the UK’s largest demolition and construction companies.

We are adapted to working on small and large sites and are able to work alongside multiple contractors due to stringent pre-works planning processes and quality communication working with our clients and contractors to ensure safe delivery of the works in accordance with the contract programme.

We hold several accreditations including Chas Advanced, ConstructionLine Gold and SafeContractor and membership of the Supply Chain Sustainability School demonstrating our ability to deliver to the highest standards expected by some of the UKs largest firms. We are experienced in operating under various forms of construction contracts including JCT and NEC3.

Asbestos in soils and contaminated land has become an increasing problem over the years as more and more brownfield sites are redeveloped and buildings formally containing asbestos are demolished.

Savana Environmental have the knowledge and experience to undertake a variety of contaminated land works including arrange of testing and sampling, undertake excavation either mechanically or manually depending on constraints and size of the worksite and finally disposal to appropriate landfill or treatment facility adhering to all legislation and standards throughout the works.

Savana Environmental have carried extensive works within the education sector working in primary and secondary schools for local authorities, day nursery’s, private schools, further education colleges and Universities.

Our experience ranges from small maintenance projects and call outs to full school strip outs prior to Demolition or Refurbishment including CLASP type buildings. We are fully conversant with the risks associated particularly when working in live heavily populated educational establishments, especially for younger age groups and the requirements for the highest of safety standards and the upmost discretion and sensitivity during the works creating minimal disruption for staff and students.

Our operatives who attend site have been vetted through the DBS checking procedure and are experienced in working within occupied premises.

We understand the limited timeframes in which works are required to be undertaken ensuring sufficient time is available for reinstatement works to be undertaken during school holiday periods, we work effectively with other contractors and have adequate resources at peak times within school holiday periods to deliver projects safely in the required timescales.

Having worked in a variety of healthcare settings ranging from GP surgery’s to Health Centres and Main Hospitals, Savana Environmental have the knowledge, skill set and ability to undertake works in the most challenging of healthcare environments fully understanding the requirements for discretion in live wards and the vulnerability of those we are working around in various situations within our design and planning of the works.

We have experience in works at elevated temperatures, understanding it isn’t always achievable to carry out full isolations of services, but with our robust planning and health systems, we can deliver projects in the most difficult of environments.
